A soft shimmering over the land caress.

A mystical light enclosed in a sphere above,

brings comfort and wisdom like a dove.

Mesmerizing and always in awe,

it climbs and sets among the stars.

And leaves its brilliance in dream-filled eyes.

My first CD

A warm feeling: like one gets when gazing at a familiar, welcoming sight

A wooden flute, drums, piccolo, something else I can’t quite identify

fingers moving

head tilted

din of voices

tap

sigh

yell

eyes alighted on the object of consideration,

fingers stop

head nods

The object’s holding place quietly collecting dust.

Picture Story Outline Treatment Thing

The Bet

A girl makes a bet with her mom. If she aced her test on Friday, she could go up with Billy to the lake. But if she gets lower than a B, she has to help her little sister at the county fair. The girl prepares really hard, but there are a lot of distractions.

The next day she's really tired cause she stayed up late studying. She takes the test and feels really good about it. Chats with her friends about the fun weekend they'll have. Teacher comes back with the results. The girl fails most of the test. She stays after to see why. Half the test is blank: she had fallen asleep.

Now as she walks home she sees her weekend filled with wearing a lobster suit beside her annoying, embarrassing sister.
