Poem #6

Heart is twitching, mind is blank

Throat constricting

Scratching, biting, screeching, screaming

Poem #5

All this way the wind . . .
What? What does it do?

the wind

A force, an energy that at one
point . . .

Caresses

At another- destroys

Hurricanes, tornadoes, ice storms

Oh, I know!

All this way the wind . . . Begins

Poem #4

The white is beautiful, but

comes with a price. Bitter
aching cold.
Liquid that freezes to your
skin

melts into your bones and
stops the thumping of your
soul.

Poem #3

Clothes

Itchy, smelly, hot, cold annoying

Restricting Expensive

world would be so much better without them

Free

honest

beautiful

Poem #2

The night is cold, the air is fresh.

A soft shimmering over the land caress.

A mystical light enclosed in a sphere above,

brings comfort and wisdom like a dove.

Mesmerizing and always in awe,

it climbs and sets among the stars.

And leaves its brilliance in dream-filled eyes.

Poem #1

My first CD

A warm feeling: like one gets when gazing at a familiar, welcoming sight

A wooden flute, drums, piccolo, something else I can’t quite identify

fingers moving

head tilted

din of voices

tap

sigh

yell

eyes alighted on the object of consideration,

fingers stop

head nods

The object’s holding place quietly collecting dust.
